there is still some confusion with people about alkaline trio being advertised for warped tour so just to clear things up they are not on warped. warped jumped the gun and advertised them and all the promoters didn't change their info when it was sorted.

Some sample tracks from Alkaline Trio's latest single are now streaming online. The track "Burn" comes from their recent full length, Crimson. The album was re-released this past December in a "Deluxe" version with bonus material.

The single, "Burn" is due out February 20th and will include remixes of the title track from Tim Armstrong, 65 daysofstatic and Test Icicles. One remix of the song also appeared on the previously announced Underworld: Evolution soundtrack which hit stores earlier this month.

The e-card/sampler includes the video and portions of Tim Armstrong's ska-tinged remixed as well as a electronic remix from Test Icles. You can check them out here.

The band has a few months of dates coming up, including stops in Europe, Australia, a lengthy tour with Against Me! through the US and a handful of dates with The Lawrence Arms and The Draft

Brendan from The Lawrence Arms has posted saying the Falcon's album is finished tracking and ready to be mixed.

punkrockvids have the new video for burn up.

from punknews

"Alkaline Trio have promised a change in structure for their recently announced tour with Against Me!. The band has redubbed the tour The Occult Roots of Alkaline Trio: Early Songs for Eerie People and is promising both electric and acoustic performances.

Frontman Matt Skiba is also promising to look back into the band's catalog which stretches back to the late 90s, saying:

We feel that much of our older catalog has been neglected for far too long, there are people out there who have been loyal to the band over the years despite the many changes that have taken place. We feel that we owe our loyal following a chance to hear songs that haven't been played in years, and we feel that we owe it to ourselves to revisit those songs that have gotten us where we are today.

Some sources also claim that the band will be performing some of their older albums in their entirety, like the fan-favorite Goddamnit. The dates come shortly after the Trio completes two tours that take them through Europe and Australia.

The popular Chicago band continues to support their recent full length, Crimson. The album was re-released this past December in a "Deluxe" version with bonus material.

The first two weeks of the tour have been announced and more dates are expected soon."

on wednesday night matt skiba was interviewed by australian radio triple j and you can download the interview

for aussie fans if you pick up your local street press there should be a full page ad for the upcoming tour.
